Brussels Gallery Weekend 2019

Between the 5th and 8th of September 2019, Brussels Gallery Weekend will highlight the reopening of contemporary art galleries and organisations in the city, alongside several projects in the Vanderborght building.

This event generates enthusiasm among the public discovering the artistic diversity of the 40 participating galleries. This long weekend also counts an OFF Programme and many activities all promoting Brussels as a major city for contemporary art.

Art Brussels is happy to offer a shuttle service bringing art lovers from one gallery district to the next.

As for the educational aspect, a dossier for kids and tours and guided tours have been put together, helping you discover the galleries, artists, institutions and non-profit venues. Two talks will attempt to answer burning questions for the curious among our visitors.

Finally, the VDB will host several projects such as info point, a bar, the show “Fried Patterns”, dedicated to artists living in Brussels not yet represented by a Brussels gallery and three edition projects held by Triangle Books, Rectangle and EAT MY PAPER.
